Safer and Stronger — a program focusing mainly on protecting vulnerable refugees and their families from diverse populations fleeing crisis and persecution, offering a safe space to share experiences and begin the process of healing.
About the program
Funded by the Canadian Women’s Foundation, the program was created in response to the rise in domestic violence during the pandemic. It takes a preventative, informative and supportive approach.
What to expect
- A safe, confidential space to discuss experiences
- Information sessions and supportive workshops
- Connections and referrals to specialized services
